Search Field

A Search field is available and located above the Data Entry title. Clicking the magnifying glass icon performs the search while a chevron up/down icon is made available for the visibility of current search results.

This will be disabled when all the records are already displayed.

 

Search Results

Columns can be moved, hidden, re-sized and clicked to sort. These values will be remembered for the rest of the user's session. It will return to default the next time you log on.

An option called 'Dock search panel' allows the user to pin the Search panel to the main form in order to leave Search results open. The docked window displays up to five records and offers a scroll bar to allow the user to scroll the rest of the returned records.

Selecting the 'Undock search panel' option hides the results and only a new search will clear the existing search.
